Promotional T-Shirts: A Good Double-Edged Sword
A double-edged sword is supposed to hurt not only the attacker, but also the defender. I used the phrase because it’s perfect to describe the effects of low cost custom t-shirts. But I’m using it in another context: that these items can have good effects to both the business and the recipient. I’ll tell you how…

For the duration of the last decade, the globe has been riddled by a lot of calamities that claimed thousands of lives, and changed a couple of millions more. Many people were really devastated with all that have happened. After every dreading event, a lot of private entities, including businesses, give away low cost promotional long sleeve t shirts for the victims.
This is where the depiction of the sword comes in.
If you look closely, the low cost promotional short sleeve t shirts make a big impact to both the business and the victims. The business gets to build-up its brand, while the victims get through the calamity with clean clothes on their body. Some critics may say that this happening, in itself is immoral, but I must say otherwise.
Look at it this way: if someone gave you, say, a pair of custom corporate t-shirts, would you appreciate this person? Perhaps the best way of giving a good impression of your brand to your customers is also through giving them something. This might be the reason why people are so loyal in patronizing their favorite product.
Giveaways amid a calamity are the best promotion for any business. Not only does it get the merchandising job done, but it also helps in helping those who are in need. This is the recent trend now. Businesses are now consciously reaching out to victims of natural disasters. And this act is not only for any altruistic feelings, but with the purpose of making their brand popular.
This is a win-win situation anyway, so I’m not complaining.
